First, start by exploring the site and reading the posts. There is a lot of good stuff here and you will very likely find something of value. Get familiar with the site and how to navigate it. Start from the homepage and explore link-by-link from page to page.
Next, register and start adding your own two cents by commenting on the posts you find interesting, or to which you have something to add. Don't be shy -- if you are polite, everyone will be polite with you. Don't take yourself or anyone else too seriously, but be respectful.
As you interact with the site and other members of the community, you will get a sense for what is appropriate and what you can do to add value and get value from the site.
There are lots of tools on the site for expressing value -- ratings, reputation, etc. Get familiar with those tools -- learn how to use them and what they mean.
If you know of any upcoming events relevant to entrepreneurs, please add them to the calendar. Doing so is easy; just post to the Events forum.
Feel free to post a quick intro to yourself in the Networking Forum.
There are two RSS feeds for Startupping. They are a great way to stay up to date with the blog and forum posts at Startupping. Subscribe to them using your favorite RSS reader. If you don't have an RSS reader, Bloglines is a good, free, web-based reader.
